Looking After Your Braces while we stay at home looking after the NHS…..
With the sudden need for us to shut the door to patients for the next little while we thought it might be helpful to have some information to hand regarding your treatment. I hope by now we have managed to speak to you in person about your orthodontic treatment, we have been slowly but surely making our way through our list of braces wearers, with individual advice as appropriate. Here is some key points in regards to your currently paused orthodontic treatment.
Don’t panic! Like everything else your treatment is just taking a break- Leaving your braces on slightly longer than expected won’t be a problem! This is only temporary, and while your braces won’t be moving your teeth at present it will keep them in position.
· Be Careful!! Keep your diet braces friendly, even more friendlier than usual! Just watch because broken brackets and loose wires can’t be fixed at present, if anything comes loose call us we can offer advice and wax!
· Be thankful for social distancing!! Those elastics gonna stain guys, and the white is going to start coming off those wires! At least there should be no one close enough to notice!! As soon as we get the go ahead we will get you into the practice to have them changed!
